We live in a technological age. Our lives goverened by the digital and technological tools that shape our daily grind. All too often we forget how recent this development in our society is, and just how large a paradigm shift had to be made to get us here. Information Pioneers celebrates just five of the people whose crazy ideas brought us into the world we love today. Five celebrity presenters showcased a pioneer, opening up a nationwide social media campaign to identify the greatest Information Pioneer of our time. Commissioned by BCS - The Chartered Institute for IT, Information Pioneers won the Gold Award for Best Use of Online Video in the Campaign Digital Impact Awards 2010.
