Red Kingdom was delighted to be commissioned to create 5 short profile documentaries for the Information Pioneers series for BCS. In a campaign that began online, five pioneers of the information age were chosen to be featured. Five celebrity advocates presented their chosen pioneer, and the films were put to the public vote.Miranda Raison (Spooks, Anne Boleyn), Dom Joly (Trigger Happy TV), Ortis Deley (The Gadget Show), Phil Tufnell (Former English Cricketer) and Kate Russell (BBC Click) each presented one film covering Hedy Lamarr, Sir Tim Berners Lee, Ada Lovelace, Sir Clive Sinclair and Alan Turing. Combining social networks, twitter, competition and blogs, the campaign was designed to generate interest in IT in the UK. The campaign won the Gold Medal in the Campaign Digital Impact Awards for Best Use of Online Video.
